Alyssa grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Auburn University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in economics with a minor in business. Alyssa went on to attend Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctor in 2015. During law school, she participated in community outreach, focusing on public service work, where she earned the title of Public Interest Fellow. She is also licensed to practice law in Washington D.C., the Federal Middle District of Alabama, and for the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veteran Claims.

Alyssa has a background in domestic law issues, having diligently clerked in this practice area for several years. She is enthusiastic, realistic and detail-oriented when confronting family matters. She resides with her husband, in Auburn, Alabama, and they have five children, who all have fur coats.

Alyssa has one goal in mind for Jones, Hawkins, & Associates: to create the best law firm Montgomery has ever seen. She comes to work every day with that objective and strives to create an atmosphere for clients and colleagues to pursue that ambition.
